As the summer dissipates into autumn, The Think Big Dream Big internship is slowly coming to a close. This means this will be the final newsletter of the summer. Throughout these past eight weeks, the Interns have been up in the air and down on the ground, trying out new and exciting (sometimes scary!) things that they have never done before. Along with these new experiences, they drank in the different places they visited and made connections with the many people they met during this journey.
They say that “all good things come to an end.” Sadly, in this case, it is true to some extent. However, is a ‘good thing’ really ending if its legacy will continue to inspire great heights and creative minds? This internship opened up the minds, eyes, and hearts of each and every Intern, allowing them to view the world with a different attitude and mindset. It enabled them to expand their networks, their connections, and horizons. They will, no doubt, carry these newfound lessons, memories and experiences along with them to wherever they go in the fall and for the many years to come. So yes, when they say that “all good things come to an end,” it is surely inevitable. The internship is ending and summer is too, but something so amazing and great in size will never go down the road unnoticed. It will never be forgotten by many. Things like these keep the hopes and dreams alive, so it never really ends. (Let’s just say it is on a little break until the next batch of amazing Interns come in next summer!)
We would like to thank you for putting yourself in our shoes throughout these eight weeks. We certainly hope you enjoyed reading about our weekly adventures as much as we enjoyed putting these experiences into words.
